The times listed are an approximation depending on the number of teams in a given league. 6:00-9:00 means you could be scheduled for the 6:00-7:30 time slot or the 7:30-9:00 slot. Schedules will be released weekly but teams should be prepared to play at either time when registering. Each week you will play 2 games against 3 separate teams (6 total games). You must have a team of two, if you don’t yet have a partner let me know and I will keep you on file if another single players wants to join.

** Men’s league is an individual sign up. Each week you’ll play with 7 different partners for the duration of the games.

Each leagues feature multiple “tiers”, so teams of all levels of play are welcome to sign-up. Our tier system ensures that you end up playing teams around your own skill level. How you perform each week determines which tier you will play in the following week. So if you play really well in week 1 you will move up a tier. Whereas if you lose the majority of your games, you will be moved down a tier. The points system ensures that the overall league standings (point totals) reflect the actual skill level of each team (i.e. teams consistently playing in higher tiers will appear closer to the top of the standings)

Fees & Team info.

Team fees are $350
Solo entrants fee is $175 (Please be aware that you will be assigned a partner that you will be playing the entirety of the league with.)

As this is a league, healthy competition is expected (not a space for beginners). If you are signing up you are expected to know the scoring system, the rules of the game and have some experience playing.

  • Our leagues are 10 weeks long. The first week is a seeding week and the final week is a playoff style tournament to determine the winner of the league. Each week you will play 2 games against 3 other teams in your tier.

Each game is played to 11, win by 2. The games are capped at 15 points. Record your scores to the scorers table after each match.

Each match is allotted 30 minutes, if time runs out and your game is tied at this point, play out 1 final point. The winner of this point wins the game regardless of serve. There will be 5 minutes given between games to record your score and grab a drink.

Playing times will be posted each week, be prepared to play either the early slot or the late slot.

  • After each week the teams with the best record in each tier will move up (except the top tier) and the teams with the worst record for that week will move down 1 tier (except the bottom tier). This ensures that you are playing teams at your own skill level.

    Example:

    Tier 1:

    Team A 3-0 Team B 2-1 Team C 1-2 Team D 0-3

    Tier 2:

    Team E 2-1 Team F 1-2 Team G 1-2 Team H 0-3

    Tier 3:

    Team I 3-0 Team J 2-1 Team K 1-2 Team L 0-3

Team E and I had the best records in their tier this week so they will each move up 1 tier (team A also had the best record but they are already in the top tier). Team D and H had the worst records in their tiers so they will each move down one tier for next week (Team L also had the worst but are already in the lowest tier). So next week the tiers will look like this

    Tier 1: Teams A, B, C, E

    Tier 2: Teams D, F, G, I

    Tier 3: Teams H, J, K, L

As the weeks progress you will earn points towards the overall standings. More wins in the higher tiers equal more points. (A win in tier 1 is more valuable than a win in tier 3). You will receive 2 points for a win regardless of tier but you will gain additional points for playing games in higher tiers.

In a 3 tier league, those in tier 1 would receive 2 points for a win and 2 points for each game played. Those in tier 2 would receive 1 additional point per game played and those in tier 3 would receive no additional points for games played.

  • The final week of our leagues is a playoff style tournament where the league is split up into 2 divisions. Those in the top half of the standings will play for the Trophy, while those in the bottom half are still competing but sadly, no trophy.
